How to get involved
The CFD Movement gives students a way to mobilize for the single most effective climate policy- a national price on pollution! If you're a student, faculty, alum, or community member who wants to help bring the movement to your school, the best way to get involved is to fill out our Welcome Form. If you're not in school and want to advocate in your local community, we recommend joining Citizens' Climate Lobby.
After you fill out the form you can expect an email within a few days requesting a 1-on-1 Zoom call with an organizer. We're excited to hear about where you're coming from and what you hope to get out of the group!

What does being involved with the movement look like?
Our goal is to make advocacy for a carbon fee and dividend accessible. Each member can decide how involved they want to be and what they aim to get out of the group. There are many ways you can connect with the CFD Movement network:
Connecting with members

Online 1-on-1 calls: We think one of the best ways of getting a sense of what's going on in the movement is to chat with people also working on the movement. We aim to promote members having a lot of calls with each other about ways to help each other.

Movement-wide calls: You can meet lots of other members by attending movement-wide calls. These calls happen on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm ET.

Instant messaging: The main platform where most CFD Movement discussion happens is in Slack. We encourage members to use Slack to write about anything relevant to the movement. Join the Slack here.
